Introduction

As a tech startup, the website and home base representation of the Communia universe is an integral component of brand awareness and market share acceleration. The existing OurCommunia.com website was a deeply detailed expression of the app experience, sometimes emphasizing the aesthetic of the app over its functional features.

Objective

Our objective was to execute a more refined version of the Communia brand identity, ensuring that app visuals stood out within a cleaner design framework. The site was developed with a focus on highlighting app features and success, primarily for the investor market rather than Communia users since users are more regularly experiencing the brand identity via the Communia app.

Design Strategy

To ensure the app was powerfully represented with minimal pages, we focused on three key factors:

Aesthetics: The site was designed to complement the app’s stills, opting for a lighter version of Communia’s vibrant gradient story. This choice was based on the site’s primary audience—investors and partners—rather than app users who were already familiar with the brand’s visual depth.
Blended Asset Use: A mix of Communia merchandise photography, lifestyle imagery, and app stills was used to create a holistic brand narrative.
Conversion-Based Copy: Key feature highlights and Communia’s brand tone were integrated across the site to seamlessly introduce visitors into the Communia universe.
