Objective


Create a company merchandise collection for the Communia App brand that felt more like an escape into the Communia universe than an advertisement for the company. While the purpose of company merch is to generate brand awareness and community, it's also important that it doesn’t feel like a walking billboard. Our challenge was to craft a unique collection that generated buzz and intrigue for the Communia App while aligning with what the Communia audience actually wanted to be wearing.

Solution Part 1: A 7-Piece Completely Custom Collection of Product


A highly curated merchandise collection of bespoke pieces that offered the security of a trusted hoodie, but also challenged the expectations of company merch by including elevated pieces in unexpected fabrications like denim and silk as well as storytelling graphics. To bring the collection together, we crafted a creative direction that told the story of who Communia is and where the startup was heading—'A New Social Frontier.' To launch the Communia app to the USA and specifically its new LA HQ, we created a cozy girl desert scape and merchandise suite complete with denim and custom 100% silk scarves.

Solution Part 2: Lifestyle and Product Photography


Visual storytelling was essential in conveying the essence of the collection. We executed a photography campaign that blended lifestyle imagery with detailed product shots, placing the merchandise in a world that resonated with Communia’s brand identity.

The photography emphasized warmth, escapism, and the rugged-yet-modern aesthetic of the collection.

To ensure the images could be repurposed effectively, we intentionally highlighted phone use in the lifestyle shots, allowing Communia to overlay screens of their actual app in use, reinforcing the brand’s digital presence.

Solution Part 3: E-Commerce Website (Shopify)

To ensure a seamless shopping experience, we designed and optimized an e-commerce storefront on Shopify. Our focus was on intuitive navigation, strategic product placement, and SEO-optimized product descriptions that made it easy for users to discover and purchase pieces from the collection. The new storefront created a more engaging and user-friendly shopping journey, ultimately driving conversions and brand engagement.

Solution Part 4: E-Commerce Fulfillment & Logistics

Bringing the collection to life required a seamless supply chain and fulfillment strategy. Our team managed the entire production process, from sourcing materials and overseeing manufacturing to quality control and packaging design. Once the products were ready, we handled order fulfillment, ensuring smooth and efficient shipping to both influencer partners and Communia fans. By optimizing logistics, we helped Communia maintain brand consistency and deliver a premium unboxing experience that reinforced the collection's narrative.
